Kyle's story begins in a small town in Wingham, ON which is located in southwestern Ontario. It's population is about 3000 people. He attended school in Wingham and quickly became involved in community groups. It was at St. Andrews's Presbyterian Church in Wingham where Kyle's faith foundation was laid.
Kyle has many, many talents, one of which is Music and his love of instruments- he plays the piano, guitar, ukulele, trumpet and of course singing. We enjoy Kyle's ministry of music during our worship services. Kyle attended the University of Waterloo where he eventually met is future wife, Janelle. He finished his studies at Waterloo with a degree in History. From there it was onto Knox College where in 2014 he received his Masters of Divinity. Kyle was ordained and inducted into the Presbyterian Church as Minister of St. John's on February 28, 2016.
Kyle and Janelle, in their spare time like to tour around to different towns in Ontario and discover new things. They also enjoy spending time at the cottage with family. We are truly blessed that Kyle was led to St. John's to Minister to the Family and Community of Grimsby.
Jessica began in youth ministry in Tuscson, Arizona at the church her Grandfather, the late Rev. R. Swift built. She married her husband, Rick and moved north after getting her degree in Special Education and Rehabilitation from the University of Arizona. She is happy to be spreading God's love with the kids at St. John's through Sunday School, youth events, mission work and new programs like S.H.E.
Jessica earned her Certificate in Youth Ministry from NEOS and is pursuing a Master of Pastoral Studies degree (Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy) from Emmanuel College at the University of Toronto. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and dog, being outside and seeing her new nephew. She is an active member of her local P.E.O. Chapter.

Nancy Louise was born in St. Catharines but grew up in Grimsby and has attended St. John's church since she was 5 years old. She has been a communicant member since she was 15 years old. Nancy was fortunate to do all her education in the Niagara Region, majoring in Business Administration.
Nancy enjoys working with the Sunday School as a Teacher as well as serving as the Secretary for the CE Team. Nancy is currently serving as President of St. John's Presbyterian Women. Her outside interests include being a member of Hamilton Branch, Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. She also has served as a volunteer for the Canadian International Military Tattoo. Of course, there will be Pipe Bands involved as she grew up with her Dad playing the bass drum for the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.
Nancy loves swimming, curling, rowing, reading and listening to all types of music and enjoys travelling. Her new hobby is scrapbooking.

Peter joined the ministry team at St. John's Presbyterian Church in February, 2014. He has a BA and MA in Musical studies. Peter has served at several churches in Hamilton and Toronto area.
Peter and his wife Cathie have three grown children, all of whom minister in their respective churches in music and related ministries.
Peter is glad to be back at St. John's Presbyterian Church which was his first ministry position after graduating from Ontario Bible College in 1982.
